The plan is to depart Maurertown, Va. in our 2013 Honda Odyssey on August 10 and head west, returning around the end of September.
The reason for the trip is to spend more 'quality' time in several National Parks, visit some friends, and see Leslie in her new home around Tacoma, WA.
We are both looking forward to the trip but have some reservations on the mechanics of the operation. What to take, where to stay, how long to visit, which bank to rob to pay for everything, etc......
Chicago area, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Yellowstone, Tacoma, McMinnville, US 101 along the coast, Redwoods National Park, Petaluma, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite, Brice, Arches National Park, Capitol Reef------all are on the list of possible/probable/maybes.
