- Car is packed
- Car is gassed up
- Cat care is arranged
- House is mostly clean
- Mowing is arranged
- Neighbors are alerted
- Mail is stopped
- Money in the wallet
- Friends are aware we are heading their way
- Beer is fermenting in the basement (not part of the trip but nice to come home to :)) )
- Atlas is in the car
- GPS programmed for first leg
- One hotel reservation made for one night visiting friends with small house
Out of bed early, quick breakfast and on the road.
